New Technology 欧洲新技术 French Valeo is developing camless engine and indicates that it has won several development contracts with automakers. Available within 5 years, this technology will reduce 20% of fuel consumption and lower engine complexity and weight.  法国 法雷奥公司正在开发无轴发动机并申称已经和多家汽车制造商签订了技术协议。预计该发动机5年内可以进入市场，它能够减低20%的油耗，简易发动机生产，降低重量。 Europe will apply probably Euro 5 emission norm from 2008. European commission will also require that news cars from 2009 be equipped with particulate filter for diesel engine.
